Active Collection
The Active series of Victorinox Swiss Army Watches consists of six sub-collections. The names of these categories are Original, Summit XLT, Base Camp, Night Vision II, Convoy and ST-5000. Each of them includes distinctive features which we will now list.
The small Original sub-collection offers products with Swiss-made quartz movements, mineral crystals and aluminum bezels. The choice of materials is quite unusual: cases are made of nylon fiber, while straps are with PVD treatment.
The next section, Summit XLT, includes much more products than the first one. There are three sizes of cases, with diameters spanning from 32 to 41.5 mm. All timepieces are with quartz movement, and some include chronographs. The bezels are unidirectional, crystals are shock-resistant minerals, whereas bracelets can be steel or rubber.
Similar characteristics are found in the following category, named Summit XLT. These watches are made for both women and men. Unlike the previous ones, they have fixed bezels and different overall design which is more classical. Currently, there is only one product in the fourth section, named Night Vision II. This 41 mm wide, steel watch is analog and with quartz movement, but with a better crystal made of sapphire.
Convoy Watches, a part of the Active collection are men’s quartz timepieces. They have Swiss made precision quartz modules, glare-proof and shock-resistant mineral glasses, as well as crown protection. Straps made of rubber are also utilized in the sub-category. The last sub-series ST-5000 also offers just one product. Its distinction is the inclusion of compass.
