Successful partnership between Tag Heuer and McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 Team that started in 1981 has been leading to a creation of many hi-end sport watches for both, professionals and passionate amateur drivers. Working together with McLaren Mercedes team and its drivers (Tag’s ambassadors) Kimi Räikkönen and David Coulthard and erlier, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, and Mika Häkkinen, the Swiss watchmaker recalled the icons from the racing history and reinvented them throughout its most advanced technology.

One of the brand’s most powerful racing-watch lines is the prestigious SLR Collection, first time presented in 2004 in order to celebrate the launch of Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren super sports car. The SLR Calibre 36 watches were exclusively made for owners of these ultra-luxury cars which paid a tribute to the iconic Mercedes-Benz 300SLR of the 1950’s.

Since that moment, Tag Heuer launched other four series of SLR watches, ending with a stunning 300 SLR Calibre 1887 Limited Edition Automatic Chronograph. Permanent parts of the brand’s catalog are SLR Calibre S Laptimer and SLR Calibre 17 Automatic Chronograph.
