Though Fossil Watches include heaps of interestingly designed and conceived products, timepieces from the S+arck series hold a special position in the catalogue of this watchmaker. The collection came to life as a joint effort of the Texas-based company and the world-renowned French designer Philippe Starck. The collaboration started in 2001, and ever since then it launched captivating and original watches that perfectly exemplify the creative brilliance of the New Design style artist from France.

Philippe Starck started his career as an interior designer. However, he soon implemented his artistic vision in the creation of various household items that reached a cult status. The transition to the design of timepieces seemed like a logical next step, and exactly this happened ten years ago. Ever since then, Starck and Fossil have been introducing watches that seem like true works of art. These timepieces are made with quartz mechanisms and usually with not many additional functions. They can be both analog and digital, but regardless of the type of display, they possess exceptional aesthetic appeal.
