Citizen’s Promaster collection is comprised of diving quartz watches that could naturally be used underwater, but are very convenient for land and even air. Such statement can be backed with the fact that they include water resistance of at least 200 meters (in few cases up to 300 meters) which is supplemented with additional functions that can be of critical importance when diving, while others include precise stopwatches and other useful features. The use of Eco-Drive technology involves a rechargeable battery that is powered by solar energy, which is another advantage of the series.
The watches from the collection have larger round steel cases within the range between 46 and 49 mm in diameter. In most cases, they have analog dials which are sometimes combined with digital sub dials. Diving features differ among models and they can include unidirectional bezels, depth displays, maximum depth memory, reinforced crystals and straps and power reserve indicators.
Additional functions available in some of the models involve chronograph features (in some instances very precise 1/1000th of second stopwatches), countdown timers, world time, GMT features, split lap time, 20 lap memory, tachymetric scales and 12/24 hour formats. Citizen Promaster time pieces are made with black dials, with either urethane or steel bracelets, and they cost between $325 and $700 per model. This series consists of ten watches.
