It is not very difficult to conclude that products from Citizen’s Chronograph WR100 collection are, in fact, chronographs with water resistance to 100 meters. Among the shared characteristics of the timepieces from the series, there are quartz mechanisms, 24 hours sub dials, cases made of stainless steel and the inclusion of Eco-Drive technology that eliminates the need for battery replacement. However, since there are 15 pieces in the collection, there are also more than a few differences among these products. Dissimilarities are found not only in the types of bracelets and in the shapes and sizes of cases, but also in general design and in the precision of chronographs.
First of all, these chronographs enable measurements in 1 second or 1/5th of second units and the maximal interval is in some cases 30 minutes, while other models measure up to 60 minutes. There are several available cases for watches from the series. The round ones are with the diameters of 42, 43, 44 or 45 mm (the versions with 43 mm wide cases are constructed with unidirectional bezels, whereas all others are with fixed bezels). The lineage also includes tonneau-shaped cases that are 40 mm wide. Some, but not all models are made with date displays. Two available materials for bracelets are (brown or black) leather and (regular, black ion-plated, gold-tone or two-tone) stainless steel. Price range for Citizen Chronographs WR100 is between $275 and $475.
