The Stratford range of Swiss-made Bulova Accutron timepieces offers run-of-the-mill quartz chronographs that feature strict and traditional design that is quite suitable for formal occasions. As it is usual for the timekeepers of the brand, the housings of watches from the Stratford collection are forged of solid stainless steel. The shape of cases, however, is not always the same, since the Stratford series includes both round and tonneau. At this point, all of the watches in the range are equipped with a chronograph function with the punctuality of 1/10th of a second.
Apart from the universal chrono feature, there are not many additional functions that are included in the Stratford collection of timekeepers. The only additional indication that is visible on the faces of these watches is a subtle date display, and in some instances we can see a tachymetric scale. All of the dials are in traditional colors. Most of them are black, but there are some brown and silver-white models. The monotony of traditionally looking dials is avoided due to the fact that they include two shades of the same color, with the darker shade being in the center. As far as the steel housings are concerned, the Stratford series includes mid-sized steel watches that can be in silver or red gold color. The faces of the timekeepers, on the other hand, are guarded with sapphire crystals.
Almost all of the models in this series of Bulova Accutron Watches are made with the same type of attachment: a black leather strap. However, there are some exceptions which are paired up with the same type of strap in brown color, or with a three-row steel bracelet. Each of the models can withstand water pressures to 50 meters.
