Timepieces from the Kirkwood Collection, made by the Bulova Accutron brand, are intended for both ladies and gentleman. The vast majority of available models are mechanical, but some are made with the quartz movements. The ones that have quartz beating hearts are with a chronograph functions, as it is usual for wristwatches with the Accutron designation. Each of the products is constructed with stainless steel casings. However, in some instances, cases are with rose gold plating.
As we mentioned before, the majority of these watches are mechanical. They are equipped with the self-winding Sellita SW200 movements, the mechanisms that this brand uses most when opting for mechanical movements. The SW200 unfortunately offers no other additional functions, so these products only tell the time and do not include features like the calendar. What they lack in functions, these timepieces tend to make up with design and imaginative dials. Some of the faces offer a glimpse to their mechanisms through small apertures on the tops of their faces, while some are completely skeletonized, and the others include stylish patterned dials (that sometimes may look a bit overcrowded). Few of the women’s models are decorated with the hand-set diamonds on the fixed bezels. However, not all of them are fixed bezels, because some are constructed with rotating ratcheted bezels.
Apart from the diverse dials, these products are also available with different bracelets, made of steel or leather. The intention to increase the quality of construction is reflected through the decision to make the watches with anti-reflective sapphire crystals. The quartz timepieces are water tight to 200 m, while the mechanical ones offer resistance to 100 m.
