Curacao Collection

Named after the tropical paradise-resembling island near the coast of Venezuela, the Curacao Collection of Bulova Accutron Watches offers a choice of ten affordable timepieces for men. The series consists of Swiss-made watches with textured dials and luminous hands, guarded with domed and scratch-resistant sapphire glasses, and housed in round stainless steel cases with the diameters of about 45 mm. Although nominally consisting of ten different models, the lineage basically has two basic models, available with various dial colors, types of bracelets and case plaiting.

The two basic models in question are made with different mechanisms. The first is the mechanical automatic Sellita SW200 movement, while the other has the Swiss-made Ronda 5030 quartz chronograph movement. Both of these watches are made with date displays. Another common trait is the fixed bezel, used on each of the variations. Wristwatches from the series are paired with either stainless steel bracelets (silver or two-tone) or high grade polyurethane straps. Available dial options are silver, black and blue. Some of the cases are treated with black ionic or rose gold plating. Models made with quartz movements are water proof to 100 meters, while automatic versions have impressive water resistance to 300 m.
