Consisting of quartz timekeepers with classical design, the Amerigo Collection of Bulova Accutron Watches offers timekeepers with very interesting three dimensional and multi-patterned dials that include appealing retrograde days of week displays, supplemented with oversized date indicators. Each of the timekeepers in the collection is with a circular stainless steel case, while the crystal is made from a domed and glare-proof sapphire. Some products from the series are equipped with a 1/10th of a second accurate chronograph with slit second times that can be used to measure intervals lasting up to 30 minutes. The models that lack this function also do not have a central second hand like the chronographs. Instead, they sport small second subsidiary counters.
Throughout the series, the only material for the cases is stainless steel which is in some instances forged with a two tone finishing. The dials of timepieces from the Amerigo collection are designed with conventional basic colors and the only two options are black and silver-white. However, the faces of these watches are embossed and multi-patterned and in some cases spiced up with accents in different colors. The most notable visible details on the dials are indicators of the watch’s calendar feature. These are large two-windowed dial displays and arched day indicators. The watches from the Amerigo Collection with chronographs incorporate these elements in the overall traditional design, while the other ones include quirky and asymmetrical appearances.
As far as the choice of the attachment is concerned, the Amerigo range offers steel bracelets in the colors that match the ones on the cases, as well as brown and black leather straps. The universal trait of all the models is water resistance to 50 meters.
