Professional Collection

Most of Breitling Watches bear the mark of its aeronautical origin. This sort of heritage is visible in the Professional collection which also tends to include new technological advantages and modern features. Unlike most of timepieces by Breitling which are almost exclusively analog, some of the products from the Professional series are analog and digital combinations. The round shape of cases is present in all of the models, as it is the case with all products by the Swiss brand.

The more classical pieces in the aviation inspired collection for men are made with mechanical self-winding movements with chronograph. Other models are made with SuperQuartz movements that are ten times more accurate than the average quartz movement. Due to inclusion of this sort of beating heart, these models include lots of useful functions, such as an alarm, a countdown timer, an accurate stopwatch (1/100th of second), a 2nd time zone or a perpetual calendar. One of the models even includes an emergency distress signal which can be used in the event of an accident. As it is expected for aviation timepieces, most of the models are constructed with bidirectional bezels of innovative star-shaped cut-out design that facilitates manipulation of the slide rule that is needed to conduct computations.
Though mostly constructed of steel, some of the watches from the lineage are from red gold or titanium. The choice of bracelets includes rubber bands, as well as three-link and steel mash bracelets.
