A Swiss-based watchmaker took inspiration from a single-button chronograph introduced back in 1948 to create the Capeland collection. This iconic single-pusher with the circular arc-shaped glass and its strongly domed case back featured a finely crafted dial with telemetric and tachometric scales. It was entirely in line with the “pebble-type” pocket watches that were manufactured in the early 20th century.
Today, this line comprises several models inspired by this historic piece. Each wristwatch from this line is equipped with an automatic mechanical movement and a flyback chronograph function. Also, every Capeland model boasts a see-through sapphire crystal case back where you can see the inner beauty of the movement together with Cotes de Geneve decoration. The rattrapante chronograph mechanisms which are incorporated in watches from this line are produced by highly appreciated Lajoux-Perret factory.
Each timepiece from the Capeland collection lives up to the watchmaker’s stated intent to “accept only perfection” and to produce the highest quality pieces. With Capeland watch you can easily track speed, distances and others of life’s more active moments. Lately, this range has been enriched with a larger case size and striking colors which are used for features, such as tachymeter and telemeter scales.
