Completely designed, developed and produced in the Swiss Jura, where Victorinox Swiss Army has a new and enlarged production facility, the Réserve de Marche Platine is the very first model of a new collection named Legacy. It is an extremely limited edition that consists of no more than 60 pieces. With this exquisite timepiece dedicated to the company’s Swiss heritage, Victorinox Swiss Army is entering an even higher level of watchmaking.

Victorinox Swiss Army Legacy Réserve de Marche Platine WatchThe Réserve de Marche Platine, the initial model from Victorinox’s Legacy line of watches, has a mechanical self-winding movement with a power reserve indicator (“Réserve de Marche” in French), decorated with “Côtes de Genève” and “Perlage” finishes. In accordance with its continuous desire to insure the maximum functionality, Victorinox presents the new Valgranes automatic movement in a size of 16 ½ inches, specifically chosen for its outstanding rewinding effectiveness.

Luxury and Functionality

The case of this luxurious timepiece is made of platinum and rubber and has 43 millimeters in diameter. The choice of these materials reflects the design philosophy of Victorinox Swiss Army. The ultra-rare platinum is 30 times scarcer than gold. It is also two times heavier for the same volume. Platinum has a notable resistance to chemicals and high temperatures. To meet the demands of active modern lifestyle, the most exposed parts – the bezel, the crown and the horns are covered with genuine rubber.

Victorinox Swiss Army Legacy Réserve de Marche Platine Watch CasebackThis extraordinary timepiece from Victorinox Swiss Army has triple-coated scratch-resistant and anti-reflective sapphire crystals on both sides of its case. The black PVD dial features large luminous white numbers. The inside of the dial is sapphire and it displays a 46 hours power reserve indicator which shows if there is enough mechanical energy to power this marvelous Victorinox Swiss Army watch for men.

The Réserve de Marche Platine watch includes the choice of two straps. If you buy this luxurious timepiece, you can choose between a high-end, dark brown hand-sewn leather band (with contrast stitching) and a specially tailored black rubber strap. This Victorinox Swiss Army timepiece is water resistant to 100 meters and has a price that matches its quality – $19,500.

good looking mechanical watch, a bit too expensive for me, but i guess you have to pay a bit to own one of these exclusive pieces. i would really like to be able to say that there are only 59 more watches like mine.

The model with black rubber is much better than the other one. It looks very fine and modern. I like sport watches and this is a true example of a watch with that character. No doubt that this is one of the best models from the Victorinox collection.

  3. Sami Adams March 27, 2012

The only positive thing of this watch is its dial. It looks fantastic. It is a pity that guys from Victorinox made a watch with good looks, but also with a lot of not so good functions. I hope that Victorinox guys will make a lot better watches in the future.

This watch is so bad looking that I would not wear it even if somebody gave me money for that. I do not like watches which do not have steel bracelets and large cases. This definitely is not a watch for me and my style. I am a serious man and I need a serious watch.
