The watchmaking house of Ulysse Nardin has been creating some of the most reliable marine chronometers for almost 170 years. Their latest model in the Marine Diver collection continues Ulysse Nardin’s nautical tradition.

Ulysse Nardin Blue Ocean Watch, as its name suggests, is all dressed in blue and features a wave pattern that can be seen on its dial, bezel and strap.

This newcomer is housed in a large stainless steel case which measures 45.8mm in diameter. The sporty case has been specially treated with a sophisticated vulcanization process which gives it its intense blue rubber cladding. Besides, it offers an eye-catching appearance with the addition of rubber that makes the new Ulysse Nardin timepiece very comfortable.

The watch is coated with an anti-reflective treated sapphire crystal and its other diving features include a screw down security crown and a sapphire crystal case back. The watch boasts an exceptional level of water resistance. It is constructed to dive to the depths of up to 200 meters (about 656 feet).

Ulysse Nardin Blue Ocean comes with an unidirectional rotating bezel and it si produced in the limited edition of 1,846 specimens, each individually numbered on the side of the case.

The latest member of the Ulysse Nardin’s Marine Diver collection is equipped with the in-house manufactured caliber UN-26 which is capable to deliver a fairly generous power reserve of around 42 hours. The self-winding mechanism is built on 28 jewels and its functions include the usual functions of hour and minute, as well as a power-reserve indicator which is located at the 12 o’clock position, a small seconds and a large date which share the counter placed at the 6 o’clock position.

The blue dial with the wave motif and gold accents comprises luminescent markers which are also colored in blue. The lume substance offers perfect legibility of the time regardless of lighting conditions.

The sapphire case back reveals the inner beauty of the self-winding movement which is also blued.

The new Ulysse Nardin diving watch (ref. 263-99LE-3C) is attached to a comfortable rubber divers strap with two black ceramic elements, fitted with a folding divers clasp.
