Ulysse Nardin Lady Diver series of watches has been a signature brand’s range since 2001. Now this exceptional watch reveals a refreshed marine-inspired design.
Ulysse Nardin Lady Diver Edition 2014 was designed by keeping in mind the specific needs of ladies that are living for the trill of the oceangoing experiences. This newcomer exudes strength and sensuality.
Waves motives are present through the entire timepiece from the dial and the bezel to the strap. The iridescent mother-of-pearl dial features waves that seem to shimmer in the sunlight and water, enhanced with 24 top-quality circling diamonds on the dial and bezel, marking the hours, together with more than 30 precious gemstones nuzzled between the lugs. The new Lady Diver boasts totally 54 bright white diamonds (weighing circa 0.685 carats).
There is yet another new feature. The unidirectional rotating bezel is further outlined with a wave pattern. The bezel is edged with what appears to be cresting waves that seem to rhythmically rise and fall as if affected by the gravitational forces of the sun and moon.
The Lady Diver for 2014 is equipped with the in-house manufactured UN-815 caliber that animates central seconds, minutes and hour displays, and the date at the 6 o’clock position. The self-winding movement has a power reserve of no less than 42 hours when fully wound and is water resistant up to 100 meters (about 330 feet). On the right side of the watch there is a screw-down security crown.
Ulysse Nardin housed the new Lady Diver timepiece in a round 40mm stainless steel or 18-karat white gold case (their referent numbers are 8153 – 180E – 3C/ 10 and 8153 – 180E – 3C/12). There is also a choice between two types of wristlets: an exclusive rubber strap which can be either white or smoky black and a three-raw stainless steel bracelet.
