Ulysse Nardin Diver Chronograph Hammerhead Shark Watch is the first member of the Diver collection which is powered with the in-house manufactured caliber UN-150 self-winding chronograph movement with silicium escapement and balance spring. The introduction of this impeccable mechanism represents another big step in manufacturer’s independence.
The in-house designed movement has a power reserve of 48 hours and oscillates at the rapid frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The back view of the watch unveils an azure rotor with a Hammerhead shark decoration.
A subtle silhouetted hammerhead shark pattern is also depicted on the watch’s deep blue dial. There is also a vivid red shark logo on the 30 minutes counter which is placed at the 3 o’clock position. The nicely decorated dial also comprises a date window which is together with a 12-hour chronograph situated at the 6 o’clock position, while a small seconds sub-dial is located at the 9 o’clock position.
The new Diver Chronograph Hammerhead Shark is housed in an oversized case measuring 44mm in diameter. Diver’s features include a screw-locked crown, pushers, solid lugs, and unidirectional turning bezel with UN’s characteristic wave pattern on its rubber inlay. Therefore, this newcomer is an essential wristwatch companion for all kinds of ocean excursions.
Furthermore, it offers wrist stability, ease of time tracking and measurement, as well as a supreme readability thanks to the inclusion of the luminous coating which has been applied on its indexes and hands. Its case is shielded with anti-reflective sapphire crystals. The exclusive limited edition watch is able to dive to the depths of 300 meters (approximately 1,000 feet).
The rugged diver is attached to a comfortable, rubber strap with either gold or titanium elements, ending with a folding buckle.
The flagship model for the Diver collection is available in two versions. A stainless steel model (ref. 1503-151LE-3/93-HAMMER) is issued in the limited series of 300 pieces, while the 18-karat rose gold variant (ref. 1502-151LE-3/93-HAMMER) is produced in only 99 exemplars.
