Tissot T-Touch Navigator 3000 Watch

One of the first timepieces from Swiss watchmaker, with a revolutionary touch-screen technology is a Tissot T-Touch Navigator 3000 from T-Touch Collection. With simple touch on screen glass you can access all its functions. When you once activate a touch crystal by pressing on the crown, you can interact entirely with this T-Touch watch by touching the crystal in different locations.

Tissot T-Touch Navigator 3000 WatchThe 42,5 mm round case with 12,5 mm thickness is crafted in stainless steel and incorporates a fixed bezel with black embossed functions. A black round dial with luminous hands and triangle hour markers includes a large LCD screen positioned at 6 o’clock. The stainless steel bracelet with push button locking clasp has a little bit sharper edges and it could be uncomfortable, but other model comes with enjoyable black leather strap.

Tissot T-Touch Navigator 3000 WatchT-Touch Navigator is equipped with highly accurate and precise Swiss E45.301 quartz movement and it is water resistance to 30 meters. This is a similar movement to those movements that are integrated into the T-Touch Expert and the Sea-Touch watches.

Several advanced functions

Swiss manufacturer crafted first watch that was capable of displaying multiple time zones back in 1853. That was a pocket timepiece. The original Navigator was created in mid-20th century, and this newest model comes with several new and very advanced features.

The Navigator is a perfect travel watch. You have access to the current time in 150 cities worldwide, and if your city is not included you can add it manually. It can operate in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.

Another significant feature of this man’s watch is a chronograph that measures time at a resolution of 1/100 of a second while the total duration is under one hour. For start and stop functions you must use a crown witch is, in my opinion, more precise than using the touch-crystal.

It also has a calendar mode that displays the date in one of three different modes: day/date, seconds/date, or week number. You can illuminate a LCD screen by rotating the crown with a pretty modern red color, instead standard blue or green backlight, and simply increase or decrease the intensity of backlight by turning the crown to the right or to the left side. After that, the LCD remains illuminated for 10 seconds.

The Navigator 3000 has two separate alarms that can be programmed for over seven days and with a choice of five melodies.

This sporty watch is equipped with a countdown timer that allows you to set hours, minutes and seconds, to a maximum time of 23:59:59. It also comes with an energy saving mode. For example, if you do not plan on using it for a certain time, you can put it into an energy saving mode. The LCD screen will become blank and the hands will indicate 6:30. When you want to reactivate the Navigator, you can do that easily by pressing the crown for two seconds.

Tissot T-Touch Navigator 3000 is a timepiece for the common traveler. With outstanding price (about 400 dollars) this Tissot watch is exactly what people who travel overseas and across multiple time zones must have.

Tissot T-Touch Navigator is truly amazing! I don’t have a particular opinion about this brand, but this is a real hit. I hope that soon will appear a similar model with improved water resistance because this one is so small..only 30 meters.

  2. Oliver Santana November 3, 2011

400 dollars for this watch? Wow! I am fascinated with the features of this watch because my job includes a lot of traveling. I love Tissot because it often gives us excellent models for small amounts of money.

  3. Louis Petty November 3, 2011

You’re right, Nicky, this is really a hit. I like the enhanced features of this navigator watch. The watch is for every recommendation. This is a true friend for traveling.

  4. Kyle Hinton November 3, 2011

I agree with Nicky and Louis that this watch has a perfect performance, but the design is nothing special. I prefer a stainless steel chronograph, but it can be uncomfortable because it has sharp edges.
