Tissot offers a totally new T-Touch II watch line from their newest T-Touch collection which entered a revolutionary touch-screen technology into the wachmaking industry. It looks that the Swiss manufacturer secretly plans to postpone the first models in order to upgrade some of their functions. The T-Touch II has a larger LCD screen, better water resistance, a much more reliable movement and also more style options than the original version.
The LCD screen is a little bit enlarged and looks like the screen on the T-Touch Expert. Though the functions are the same as in the previous model, some of them are improved. Touch II wristwatch is equipped with a reliable and precise Swiss made quartz E48.311 movement, with a battery end of life indicator (EOL). This multi-functional timepiece incorporates numerous hi-tech features, such as a chronograph, a compass, a meteo, an altimeter, a thermo, two alarms, a second time zone, a perpetual calendar, an altitude difference meter, a backlight and a countdown timer.
To activate the functions, you held down the button at the 3 o’clock position and then you can access to all of them with a simple touch on a tactile scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass, coated with an antireflective material. A case and a rotating bezel are made of anti magnetic 316L stainless steel or high-quality titanium. The stainless steel watches are cheaper in comparison to titanium models. The first ones can be bought at a price range of $825 to $875, while the watches made of titanium cost from $950 to $995.
Dimensions of this new watch are the same as on the previous model. The case measures 42.7 mm in diameter and 14.6 mm in depth and it is quite appropriate for the normal sized wrist. It comes with a sporty black or an orange rubber strap with folding claps with push down buttons, and for a more fashionable appearance, Tissot offers an elegant stainless steel or titanium bracelet. The total weight of T-Touch II watch is 86 grams.
The color of the dial is black at nine models (the three of them are with black carbon fiber), while the T047.420.11.071.00 includes a refined rhodium dial (this watch is appropriate for men as well as for women).
Although the case construction is 100 meters water resistant, it is not a diving watch, because the sensors require access to the outside air to work.
Perhaps the most attractive watch from this line of watches is the T-Touch II JUNGFRAUBANH Special Edition (T047.420.47.051.11). A quite handsome case and an eye-catching dial are irresistible, while its vibrant orange rubber strap completes the look.
