The Silen-T watch combines the latest in tactile technology, featuring an alarm which vibrates instead of making a noise and a high quality touch screen that you can use to set both – the time and alarm.
This Tissot was made firstly for blind people, but it works just as well for those who aren’t. By simply pushing the crown and touching the screen, you can set and read the time and the alarm in a revolutionary way.
All you should do after pressing and releasing the stem is to wait half a second and then place your finger on the sapphire crystal at the edge of the bezel and then trace your finger clockwise around it, until you sense a vibration. A continuous vibration connotes hours, while an intermittent vibration indicates minutes. The watch comes with a choice of black, white and silver dial, with luminous hour and minute hands, indexes and Arabic numerals at six and 12 o’clock position, and it is protected by antireflective-sapphire crystal.
