At the end of the last year, Tissot brought a trendy line of sporty urban watches to respond to the latest trend for square shaped pieces, sought after by today’s customers. Tissot TXL chronograph men’s watch from the T-Trend Collection has a little bit larger case than the model without a chronograph function (TXL quartz watch), and it shares the same stepped case and smooth lines that run effortlessly into the case attachment.

Precise and reliable, Swiss made ETA G15.211 quartz movement offers the traditional functions of hour, minute and second, as well as date and chronograph function. The movement is housed in a modern square case. The case is crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel and it measures 35mm in length and 31mm in width, with the thickness of only 9.27 mm. Its beautiful bezel with polished surface is also made of stainless steel.
This men’s wristwatch is domed by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and its solid construction guarantees water-resistance up to 100 meters (330 feet).
A black or silver dial is partly framed by square lines, and features three sub-dials with square-shaped edges. The charmingly designed dial also includes hour and minute hands filled with Superluminova, a thin second hand with a tail piece which shows the letter “T”, as well as silver hour markers. A 60 seconds counter is set at the six o’clock position and it comprises a silver date window, while two chronograph sub-dials for measuring 1/10 of a second and 30 minutes are symmetrically situated between 2 and 3 o’clock positions, and between 9 and 10 o’clock positions.

TXL chronograph watch comes either with a handsome, polished stainless steel bracelet, or with an elegant, genuine leather strap, both fitted to butterfly clasps with push buttons. Either the bracelet or the strap is smoothly connected to the case, leaving no free space between them.
This family of watches includes four different variations. The contemporary model T0617171603100 features a retro looking brown leather strap and a bright silver dial. The exceptional model T0617171605100 exudes timeless elegance with a black colored strap and dial. There are also two versions attached to metal bracelets. The first variant with the referent number T0617171105100 sports a sleek, black dial, while the other one with the reference T0617171103100 matches a silver dial.

The retail price of these men’s square wristwatches depends on a model. Two versions with leather straps are priced approximately $675, while the models with steel bracelets are a little bit expensive with the price tags of $725.
Damian, you are right for a small choice of this form, but these 4 models have a good design and satisfactory functions. Four months ago, I bought the model T0617171105100 with a polished stainless steel bracelet and a black dial, and I’m pleased.
I am not a member of high society, so Tissot is always my choice. Water resistance of this watch is quite decent for the usual water activities. Of course, the price is excellent as always and that is the main reason for the selection of my favorite brands.
It is a rare opportunity when you can have a nice, elegant and quality watch for only a bit more than $700. It`s a unique opportunity for anybody and my honest advice is – buy it as soon as possible! I like watches with square shapes. The model with brown leather is my favorite.
You have the point, Fred. It`s a perfect opportunity for any true lover of Tissot watches. I`m their biggest fan, I think. I had ten Tissot watches, and each of those ten was very elegant, interesting and expensive. If I buy this watch, it`ll be one of my best decisions in life. Also. Nice, great, with a lot of quality and prestige. Those are the features that one watch must have to be a watch with a renowned name. This watch definitely has those features and it can be one of the best watches from Tissot, no doubt.
