This year, Tissot brought up a new T-Navigator chronograph watch that provides both, superb legibility and a great look on your wrist. Although it is not a real aviator watch, it offers some contemporary interpretations of classic pilot’s watches, such as the aviator styled dial and numerous details on its case.
The round 44 mm case, with 15.78 mm thickness, is finely crafted in high-quality stainless steel with a black PVD coating. The masculine case incorporates a rotating black PVD bezel with a compass. On the left side of the case, there is a screw down crown and two buttons which are quite originally designed.
The face of T-Navigator timepiece is coated with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal for the best clarity, while its turbine styled exhibition case back allows you to see the automatic rotor between the blades.
The case construction provides water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet), which means that it can be worn while swimming and even diving.
This timekeeper is equipped with a still new, Swiss made C01.211 automatic mechanical chronograph movement with 15 jewels and a power reserve of amazing 45 hours. The impeccable movement guarantees high precision and reliability and provides the usual set of functions with an additional chronograph function.
A Cockpit Black Dial Continues the Striking Aviation Theme
T-Navigator is available either with black and white (the referent number is T0624271705700) or with black and orange dials (the referent number is T0624271705701). The more eye-catching and attractive model is the one with orange accents, whereas the black and white combination is better for everyday wear.
The hour and minute hands are highlighted with snow-white Superluminova to show time even in dark places. HM hands are a little bit shorter, while a second hand is large and thin, and also has the luminous materials on its tip. The dial comprises three sub-dials and a date aperture, set at the three o’clock position. Two chronograph counters for measuring 6 hours and 30 minutes are positioned at 6 and 12 o’clock positions, while a small second counter is set at the 9 o’clock position. The dial also features black on black lines that burst out from sub-dials hands. There is also a tachymeter scale, situated on the dial periphery.
The new T-Navigator chronograph timepiece can be attached either to a solid stainless steel bracelet or to a black rubber strap. The first one, with the referent number T0624271105700, can be purchased for $1,150, while the versions with black rubber straps are priced $1,095 each.
