Since 2011 when Tony Parker joined Tissot as an Ambassador, the Swiss watchmaker launching sporty timepieces dedicated to San Antonio Spurs All-Star. Tissot and Tony Parker have unveiled the latest Parker’s limited edition watch that stands for precision, robustness and classic style.

Tissot PRC 200 Tony Parker Limited Edition 2013 is housed in a round, sporty case crafted from 316L stainless steel. Its masculine case measures 42mm in diameter and 12.92mm in thickness. Shielded with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals, the case is constructed to resist water pressure up to 200 meters (about 660 feet). The case also incorporates a bezel inscribed with a tachymeter scale.

The Orange Color Accentuates the New Mr. Parker Watch

Like two previous editions dedicated to the famous basketball player (Tony Parker Racing-Touch 2011 and Tony Parker PRS 330 2012), the third Tony’s wristwatch features a black dial surface.

The sleek, black dial features stylish details, such as the orange minute track, hands, the sub-dials numbers and indices, as well as Tissot’s name and the year when the company was established. A basket ball’s orange color has also been used for stitching on the all-time classic smooth leather strap that is secured to the wearer’s wrist with a steel butterfly clasp.

Two chronograph counters that measure 1/10 of a second and 30 minutes are well balanced and situated at 2 and 10 o’clock positions. The third sub-dial which is placed at the 6 o’clock position shows seconds.

Just like the last year’s Tony Parker PRS 330 limited edition, the new watch features Parker’s lucky number 9 which stands proudly at its dedicated index and also illustrates the ball’s fiery orange. A small date aperture is placed traditionally at the 4 o’clock position.

The case back of the watch features silk printed glass engraved with a ball, Parker’s number 9 and his signature. There is also a limited edition number engraved on the case flank (the watch is produced in a limited series of 4,999 pieces).

The heart of the watch is the Swiss made quartz ETA G10.211 chronograph movement that guarantees precision and reliability.

The new Tony Parker’s watch is appropriate for almost every situation. You can wear it up with a sharp suit, or casually, with a T-shirt and jeans. The choice is all yours. If you are a true Parker’s fan, you may be interested about the price. As it is reported by the manufacturer, the watch should be priced at $595.

A French professional basketball player and San Antonio Spurs All-Star is one of the few high-profile people who take their celebrity status seriously, as being evidenced by his dedicated support for the annual Par Coeur Gala. The Par Coeur association grants children who are suffering from life-threatening medical conditions. Last year, the Association raised 150,000 euros of funds for Make a Wish Foundation of which Tony is an ambassador.
