Link collection first appeared in 1999 and after two collection stages and 8 years of watchmaking, resulted in a breakthrough technology, characterized by high precision timekeeping and fabulous design, both elegant and sportive.
Worn by many sport celebrities, including Ayrton Senna and Tiger Woods, Tag Heuer watches from the Link collection has set a high standard in ergonomic design and ageless elegance. Latest device in collection is the Link Calibre S, the watch with two modes, Time and Chronograph, which enable us to switch between calendar and stop watch function, just by a click.
The centerpiece of this amazing watch is the Calibre S electro-mechanical movement. Five bidirectional motors (for moving tiny hands on retrograde counters) and 230 components mix the quartz and mechanical legacy of timekeeping (quartz tractor, mechanical chronograph module), powering the timepiece and providing advanced performances.
The Caliber S brings a totally now approach to the time-telling, by using central hands (hours, minutes, seconds) for easy-to-read displays in both modes. The Chronograph mode allows counting of simple time, split time and two periods of time. At the same time, two half lunar counters measure elapsed time, with 1/10 and 1/100 of a second accuracy. In the Time mode, these counters display date, using the perpetual calendar, applicable until 2099.
Sport and Elegance for Men
Tag Heuer developed this unique feature, both cool and useful, in order to make a chronograph easy-to-use, as much as it possible. Nice thing about it is that changes from the traditional three-counter dial to the new watch interface have even made a timepiece more attractive.
Elegant dial, with a hand applied luminescent markers and angled hands provide superb legibility in dark. It also features monochrome Tag Heuer Link S logo resides beneath the 12 o’clock marker. A sapphire, non reflection glass shields the dial from scratches, while the inside of the timepiece is protected by a screw in case back, which will keep your watch dry and tell you exact moment of the day, up to 200 meters under water.
The case is made of satin-finish steel, with a 42mm diameter. It perfectly matches the elegant polished steel bezel, which incorporates a tachymeter scale, for tracking the speed, based on elapsed time. Nicely designed steel “S” link bracelet, with double safety clasp and folding buckle, complements the sport elegance of Tag Heuer watches.
Tag Heuer Link Calibre S watches come in four color variations, with either black or white dial and combined with a gloss or matte silver bracelet.

I am a big fan of golf. When my idol Tiger Woods became the ambassador of Tag Heuer, I bought a Tag Heuer watch. Now I intend to buy this one. It will be a good addition for my watches collection.
The watch looks perfect. It has innovative design, nice shape and very reliable and quality mechanism.
It’s a pity because there is only a variation of this watch which has a steel bracelet. I prefer leather and in my opinion, this watch would look very nice with a leather strap instead of a steel bracelet.
Oliver, you are right. This watch would look nice with a leather strap. I personally prefer watches with rubber and leather straps instead of stainless steel bracelet
I am extremely disappointed in the quality of TAG. I purchased TAG Link Chronograph 16 in Oct. 2011 for $3200. In December 2011, the watch stopped working so I brought it back to the jeweler where I had purchased the watch. My watch was sent back to Tag. Yesterday, January 21, I went to the jewelry store and was informed that Tag claims the watch was dropped, which is wasn’t and is charging $150 to repair the watch. My jeweler is paying for the repair, but that is not the point. Tag doesn’t stand behind their product, and this concerns me. I offered to pay the $150, if I could return the watch, but this wasn’t an option. I am not going to trust the watch when I do get it back. I will sell it and go back to Rolex, which I should have done in the first place.
It`s a great pity that this wonderful watch has only two variations. Imagine this nice dial and exclusive brown or black leather strap. I think that that combination would look very good.
I agree with you James. It`s too bad that this model has only two variations. The variation with a black dial is my favorite. It looks classy and very gallant. I do not know why I didn`t buy this watch a few months ago.
