Another beautiful man’s watch from Swatch, Irony Chrono Automatic Sign In The Sky White Rubber Strap SVGK403, gives you a stunning elegant bold look and a solid reliable Swiss mechanism with chronograph functions.
Famous all around the world for its colorful, trendy and easily accessible plastic watches, Swatch does not forget to amaze from time to time, even those who have never mixed watch fashion with fun.
Swatch Irony Chrono Automatic Sign in the Sky White Rubber Strap Watch (SVGK403) is exactly the model which has a power to attract the most demanding people. Its white elegance, light lines and sporty elements give a stunning eye-catching look, making this chronograph a desirable, but easy accessible object.
Although the robust, lightly textured rubber strap and 45 mm metal case may appear too big, their white color and transparency balance its robustness with a size of a wrist. Plastic materials are combined with the brushed stainless steel 316L of its crown, chronograph pushers and the bezel.
The silver-tone bezel of the Swatch Automatic Chrono features superlight white dots, raised at hour markers 1, 2, 3, 6, 9 and 12 and polished steel indexes in relief at all other hour markers, while shiny raised minute indexes mark the first quarter hour.
Swiss Made Automatic Movement
A scratch resistant sapphire crystal covers the watch face and protects the Swiss made automatic movement. Regarding to water-resistance, Swatch was in line with its minimum standard of 30 meters.
For no explicable reason, designers have decided to put numeral hour markers only at the 2 and 4 o’clock positions, while double-strip luminous hour markers miss only the 9 o’clock position. The black-on-white date window is located at the 3 o’clock position, while the minute markers are around the outer rim of the watch.
Swatch Automatic Chronograph has three sub-dials displaying: 60 seconds, 30 minutes and 6 hours. The seconds counter at the 9 o’clock position, which has black indexes, black numerals and a polished metal hand, is visually separated from the other two by a light grey-on-white crosshatch pattern which fills the central zone of the watch.
The two other chronograph disks feature brushed silver dials, black numerals and indexes and polished metal hands; the 30-minute counter is at the 12 o’clock, while the 6-hour counter is at the 6 o’clock position.
