These exquisite newcomers are smaller and slimmer when compared with the Portofino 37mm collection. Its case measures 36mm in diameter and 11.50mm in thickness. Also, their cases feature rounded crowns, as well as recessed inner circles on their dials.
Since 1985, the moon phase window has been a part of the Da Vinci collection. With these new models, the moon phase display returns and it represents the visual center of the silver-plated dial. The uncluttered dial comprises Arabic numerals as hour markers and lance-shaped hands.

From the rear, the engraved case back features the so-called “Flower of Life”. This is a geometric figure consisting of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles in a hexagonal configuration which Leonardo da Vinci studied widely and devoted many drawings to it. Furthermore, this figure symbolizes the connection between technology, creativity and beauty.

The new Da Vinci Automatic Moon Phase 36 features the new lugs with moving horns, which ensures that the alligator leather strap fits comfortably around its future wearer’s wrist. As you have probably noticed on these images, these straps boast the nuanced gradations of color, which has been achieved by polishing the surface of the leather with a diversity of various pastes until it has the desired nuance and a perfect radiance. Because of that, each strap has an exclusive patina-styled shimmer with its own individual shades of color.
