At the recently closed SIHH 2017 watch show, the luxury Swiss manufacturer enriched its premiere collection for women with a new, feminine model equipped with modern moonphase display. The exquisite novelty named Promesse Moon Phase is intended for contemporary women that are seeking for timeless elegance.
Baume & Mercier Promesse Moon Phase (the referent number is 10347) is a new star within Promesse collection which continues to attract women around the world with its utmost elegance and refined design. The latest evolution of the range which is launched in 2014 is housed in a polished, stainless steel case with an oval-shaped bezel encrusted with two crescent-shaped rows of graduated diamonds. These two peripheral curved-shaped grooves consist of 15 sparkling diamonds each, weighing 0.38 carats. The feminine case measures 34.40mm in diameter and 8.73mm in thickness. The case is protected with sapphire crystals on both sides with anti-glare coating on the front side.
Underneath the front glass lies a stunning blue-lacquered dial that clearly deepens from the center to flange (similar to the style obtained by using the Sfumato technique which allows tones and colors to shade gradually into one another).
There are also four indexes enhanced with brilliant-cut diamonds (0.02 carats) at the quarter hours (12, 3, 6 and 9) and six silvered pearls. The hours and minutes are displayed via two small rhodium-plated Dauphine hands set at the heart of the dial.
The beating heart of this beautiful ladies’ timepiece is the precise and reliable Ronda 708 quartz movement. The watch is constructed to provide sufficient water resistance up to 50 meters (approximately 165 feet).
The last, but not the least, this exceptional novelty from the house of Baume & Mercier comes with a glossy midnight blue alligator leather strap which completes the overall look.
