Hublot extended its most elegant collection with three new models, nicely demonstrating its principle of fusion between tradition and modernity. Visitors of 2013 SIHH watch show in Geneva saw the first Classic Fusion model that implements an Aero movement concept. Besides, the renowned Swiss watchmaker presented its bestseller – Classic Fusion Classico Extra-thin Skeleton watch, entirely made of polished, black ceramic. Finally, there is Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon Black Ceramic timepiece, a true masterpiece of the haute horology, announced as one of the brand’s major novelties in 2013. Classic Fusion Chrono Aero Watches in Titanium and King Gold
The mechanical concept that became highly popular with Aero Bang watches has become a part of the Classic Fusion Collection. Created either of titanium or 18 karat King Gold (the brand’s famous red gold with 5 percent of platinum that provides an intense red color and even higher level of preciousness), new Classic Fusion Chrono Aero watch represents an ideal combination of sporty elements and classic elegance.
Hublot’s characteristic graphically open-worked dial provides a clear view on beautiful mechanical details of a HUB 1155 Aero chronograph movement. This self-winding mechanism comprises 207 parts and 60 jewels, and it provides a power-reserve of 42 hours. Its bridges on the dial side are coated in black, while a rhodium-plated tungsten carbide oscillating weight features a black Hublot logo.
Besides a pretty large diameter of 45 mm, the case does not look too robust, thanks to its sleek construction and gentle, round lines. The material of the case (either titanium or King Gold) is beautifully polished, while the bezel, crafted in the same metal, features satin finishes and inevitable 6 H-shaped titanium screws.
A sapphire crystal dial with interior anti-reflective treatment comes with rhodium or gold-plated applied hour markers, counter rings and hands. The small seconds sub-dial is located at the 3 o’clock position, the 30-minute counter is at the 9 o’clock, while the date aperture takes the 6 o’clock position. There are four versions of this great looking watch. Both gold and titanium models are available either with a matching bracelet or with a stylish black alligator strap stitched on black rubber that ensures flexibility, exceptional durability and comfort.
Classic Fusion Classico Extra-Thin Skeleton Black Ceramic Watch
Presented at the last year’s Baselworld, this remarkable piece has quickly become one of the brand’s bestsellers. We have already seen this ultra-thin model in King Gold and titanium and now, it comes in the most elegant variation, completely executed in polished, black ceramic with satin finishes.
Through an open-worked dial of the new Classic Fusion Extra-thin watch, you can enjoy a new Hublot’s masterpiece, a CLASSICO HUB1300 hand-winding mechanism, entirely designed and developed in the brand’s manufacture in Nyon. Built of 130 components and skeletonized, this high-end movement is just 2.90mm thick. It incorporates a microblasted black plated main plate with snailed finishing, microblasted black plated bridges, a reinforced spring barrel and a Swiss lever escapement. The Classico beats on the frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) and provides the superb power-reserve of 90 hours.
A stylish, extra-thin case has the diameter of 45mm. A bezel is also made of black ceramic, but its vertical satin-finishes make a nice contrast with the case. Only the elements which are not in ceramics are 6 H-shaped titanium screws that nicely match indications and hands on the dial. Anti-reflecting sapphire crystal covers both sides of the case. On the dial side, you can see the small seconds sub-dial at the 7 o’clock position and hands, designed in a special way to recall the style of the very first Hublot watches.
The new Classic Fusion Extra-thin Skeleton Black Ceramic watch presents a beautiful fusion between classic elements and modern and dynamic “all in black” style. The final touch of elegance comes with a black alligator leather and rubber strap.
Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon Black Ceramic Watch
Another masterpiece crafted in black ceramic presents one of the greatest horological complications, completely revealed through its skeletonized body. As a matter of fact, a wide open-worked dial discloses each single part of a graphic skeleton movement, entirely designed, developed and produced in the workshops of the Hublot Manufacture. You can see a tourbillon cage at the 6 o’clock position, a black plated ruthenium main spring with circular graining, a microblasted black plated ruthenium bridges and a reinforced barrel. Consisting of just 155 and 19 jewels, this exquisite hand-winding mechanism oscillates at the frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and when it is fully wound, it guarantees an accurate work up to 120 hours (5 days).
Produced in the limited edition of 99 pieces, the new Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon Black Ceramic watch features a stylish design of the brand’s most elegant collection, nicely combined with the contemporary sleek black style and modern architecture. A 45mm case is crafted in satin-finished and polished black ceramic with a matching bezel, marked with vertical satin finishes, 6 titanium screws and lugs in black composite resin. A sapphire crystal dial with anti-reflective coating on both sides comes with black coated and polished markers and hands. A dark body nicely fits with black alligator leather stitched on a black rubber strap.
