Hublot has continued with creating “animal inspired” timepieces. After successful editions of Leopard Bang and Boa Bang watches, the renowned Swiss watchmaker produced a cool looking feminine Zebra Bang model that will be officially presented next year, at the SIHH 2013 watch show in Geneva. Striking zebra stripes and luxurious materials, including sparkling diamonds give an iconic Big Bang design a distinctive look that immediately draws attention.

The new Hublot Zebra Bang Chronograph timepiece comes in three variations, each of which is produced in a limited series of 250 pieces. On the picture above, you can see a black ceramic version that sports zebra-print calfskin leather sewn onto a black rubber strap. Choices of red gold and white ceramic versions are also available. Each version features a 41mm case with a bezel set by 17 colorless topazes and 31 black baguette-cut spinels. The bezel is crafted either in black anodized aluminium, 18K white gold or red gold, depending on a version, while the case-back is either made of titanium or 18 karat red gold.

Matching the zebra-motif of the strap, a black and white dial is adorned by eight small diamonds with the total of 0.14 karats, serving as hour markers. Polished hands of the red gold version are gold-plated, while ceramic versions have rhodium-plated hands. The dial features three sub-dials and a date window. The small-second sub-dial is at the 3 o’clock position, the 12-hour chronograph is located at the 6 o’clock, while the 30-minute counter takes the 9 o’clock position.

Inside the case, there is an in-house HUB4300 self-winding chronograph mechanism, incorporating an oscillating weight with black PVD coating. This high-quality movement provides the power-reserve of 42 hours.

The new Hublot Zebra Bang Chronograph is covered with sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and it provides a solid water-resistance up to 100 meters (330 feet). Comfortable and highly functional, this interesting model is a fashionable ladies’ piece that nicely combines sport style with luxury, while its striking design gives the powerful touch of uniqueness.
