Seiko Solar Ladies’ Watches

Seiko watches for ladies combine nice elegant looks with great eco-friendly technologies.  Powered by solar quartz batteries, Seiko Solar SUP51, SUP052 and SUP54 are made to beautify women’s wrists with pure femininity, and the eye-catching sparkles of Swarovski crystals.

Although Seiko launched its first solar watch in 1977, the Japanese watchmaker started using it significantly only a few years ago. Looks like these rechargeable solar batteries will be used more and more by Seiko, as they are much better and more efficient solutions than the conventional quartz batteries, which is already highly recognized by some other Japanese watchmakers, such as Citizen and Casio (read the reviews of the Citizen Eco-Drive, the Casio G-Shock and the Casio Oceanus).

The Seiko Solar uses a solar panel to convert the light into electrical energy that powers a watch. The battery can be quickly recharged. Usually, one minute of sunlight provides energy for one hour of work. After three hours, the timepiece is fully charged). Thanks to this technology, the wearer never has to change the battery, which contributes to a healthier environment.

When it is fully charged, the Seiko Solar usually works six months without any light (or amazing 12 in some models). If you manage to leave it without any power, this watch will start beating after just 8 minutes on sunlight.

Shine and Elegance

Seiko Ladies’ Solar SUP051 timepiece is completely made of stainless steel. Its petit case has just 22.07 mm in diameter and the thickness of 6.47 mm, which looks subtle and elegant on a woman’s hand. The most striking part of the watch is the bezel which is completely coated with genuine Swarovski crystals. Sparkling stones illuminate the black dial and its silver-tone hands and markers, giving the watch a discreet gleam.

Featuring a jewelry clasp, a beautiful stainless steel bracelet with its artistic lines perfectly fits the watch face. With its gold-tone finishes, the model SUP054 possesses even a dressier look. Complemented with a brown dial, with gold-tone hands and markers, this Seiko timepiece is made to be both, a piece of jewelry for a classic evening wear and a reliable timekeeper. For those who like bright dials, the Japanese watchmaker created a two-tone gold plated stainless steel version (SUP052).

My favorite color of dress is combination brown and yellow color and I enjoy in my dressing..the watch with gold-tone and brown dial is my chose for this month but all models are nice and elegant.

  2. Charla Berry October 27, 2011

Swarovski crystals made that this watch shines on my dark skin. I’m big fun shines jewelry because crystals look luxury and very feminine.

  3. Naya Knight October 27, 2011

These watches have lovely design and unusual bracelets but I prefer more watches with sport look.
The elegant watches always demand special dress but the sport watches don’t demand elegant dress.

I like this solution because the battery should never be changed. Seiko Ladies Solar SUP051 has a superior elegance and a refined touch of style. The model – SUP054 looks nice, too. A brown dial with a gold-tone always looks excellent.
The stainless steel watch – SUP052 with a white dial do not have a nice selection of colors. The brown version is much better.

I like the collection “Seiko Solar Ladies’ Watches” because it contributes to a healthier environment. Seiko is one of a few brands who care about preserving our nature. Of course, Seiko, at the same time, is able to satisfy the needs of its users. For this reason, my favorite brand will always remain SEIKO.

  6. Jessica Gordon July 17, 2012

I would agree with Katherine about eco-friendly technologies. I think that it is the most important factor for the development of our society.
In addition, I would like to mention a very feminine creation and an excellent choice of materials and colors for the model with the serial number – SUP054.
