Boldly looking, Seiko Premier Alarm Chronographs simply look gorgeous on men’s wrists. The first quality of these Seiko watches is their perfect design. It is followed by superb precision and solid functionality.
If you cannot afford yourself some of the leading Seiko technologies, or if you simply do not want to spend a lot of money for a timepiece, but you are still seeking for a reliable and quality watch that looks elegant and classy, one of these quartz chronographs from the Premier Collection may be a perfect solutions.
Beautiful shapes and an appealing design are things that put the quality of these Seiko watches quite beyond its price. First of all, their dials look great. Designed to appear divided into three different levels, they provide depth and space. This is the reason why so many elements on a mid-size watch do not look cluttered.
Elegant Roman numerals go around the outer rim, surrounding the minute track, the date window and raised hour markers. The central part of the dial is reserved for three sub-dials – two smaller chrono counters at the 12 and the 9 o’clock positions, and a large alarm sub-dial at the 6 o’clock position. A stylish Seiko Premier Chronograph signature completes the complex design. Some variations are even more beautified with an amazing square texture of the dial’s central part.
With a simple push, you can easily adjust the alarm to be activated ones per 12 hours. A second push button serves to move and stop chronographs that are available to count elapsed time up to 60 minutes, in a 1/5 seconds increments.
These men’s watches have round stainless steel cases, 41 mm long and 10 mm thick, and matching steel bracelets or elegant black leather straps. Both variants come with three-fold clasps and push button releases. They are protected with a sapphire crystal and have solid water-resistance up to 100 meters (330 feet).
Eight variations of the Seiko Premier Alarm Chronograph come in different combinations of colors and bracelets’ materials. My absolute favorite one is the model SNA587P1 which features a black square textured dial, with grey sub-dials, hour markers and hands, as well as a leather strap. Besides, there is a variant with brighter elements on the black dial.
For those who like a lighter timepiece on a wrist, I strongly recommend the model SNAD25P1 – a stainless steel version with a white dial and sub-dials, with black hands and indices. Two models feature two-tone bracelets, with gold-color elements on their dials.
