Sector enriched its Racing family with the new line of sporty timepieces, named 850 Collection. This line comprises three chronograph models, designed to meet the tastes of a wide range of people.
They are housed in a Sector’s recognizable large-sized cases with diameters of 45mm. Their masculine cases are crafted from stainless steel and constructed to resist water pressure of up to 100 meters (approximately 330 feet). Depending on the model, the case is coated with either black or blue ion plated (IP) stainless steel.
The case is shielded with mineral crystals and it has a screw-down case back. On the right side of the case, there is also a screwed crown, as well as two chronograph push pieces. The sporty-looking case incorporates a bezel with the tachymeter scale inscribed with white Arabic numerals.
Sector offered three distinctive models of the Racing 850 Chronograph. Two of them come with three-raw stainless steel bracelets, and you can choose between the model with a black dial and the matching bezel (the referent number is R3273975002) and the version with a striking blue dial surface and a blue IP steel bezel (the referent number is R3273975001).
The third variant with the reference R3271975001 is teamed with a black, leather strap, fitted with ardillon buckle. Besides black IP, this model also features red gold IP. The retail price for the blue IP version is €270, or approximately $350, while two remaining timepieces can be bought for €240 (about $315) each.
The new Sector Racing 850 Chronograph timepieces feature classic-looking dials. Two chrono counters are placed at 3 and 9 o’clock positions, while a small hacking seconds sub-dial is located at the 6 o’clock position.
A traditional date window is placed between 4 and 5 o’clock positions, while the blue model of this chrono watch has an elongated date aperture that is situated between 3 and 6 o’clock positions. This date display perfectly connects two sub-dials. This model also has bold Arabic numerals as hour markers, whereas two other Racing 850 chronographs feature hour markers filled with luminous material.
Each of these three newcomers boasts the luminescent hour and minute hands to provide best legibility in all kinds of lightening conditions. There is also a 60 minutes track which runs alongside the outer rim.
The heart of the latest member of the famous Sector’s Racing family is the Swiss made Quartz movement that provides precision and reliability for a long time.
