Featuring a rotating bezel, the Turn-O-Graph is a unique timepiece in the Rolex Datejust Collection. It caries out brand’s exquisite craftsmanship, toughness and precision of Oyster Perpetual watches and distinctive style that combines sport and luxury.

Rolex Datejust Turn-O-Graph Watch
The Turn-o-graph is a one of timepieces with the longest tradition in Rolex family. The first model, with the 40 mm case, Caliber A.296 automatic movement and water resistance up to 50 meters was launched in 1953, as a part of the innovative Professional line of watches. The fact that it was the first Rolex with a rotational bezel, for measuring periods of elapsed time, brought the instant popularity.
In a mid 1950’s, Swiss watchmaker answered the call of excellence, introducing the new Turn-o-graph, with advanced Caliber A.260. However, under the shadow of new Rolex sport models, such as the Submariner and the GMT Master, it was discontinued in 1960’s.
Today, Rolex reinterprets this vintage model, under the name – Oyster Perpetual Datejust Turn-o-graph. It features standard Datejust case size of 36 mm and the Cyclops eye over a red date counter, as distinguishing marks of the brand’s most popular collection. Bi-directional rotating bezel is fluted, which is another aesthetic signature of Swiss watchmaker.
Durability and Precision
The Datejust Turn-o-graph is the officially certified chronometer, which means it passed rigorous tests that guaranty high durability, stability and accuracy. The Oyster case provides superb water-resistance up to 100 meters (300 feet), as well as a great resistance to dust, pressure and mechanical shocks. At the same time, a sapphire glass is protecting timepiece from scratching.
The Turn-o-graph was the first to implement an upside down triangle, on the 12 o’clock position. Since then, it has been placed on the bezel of every Rolex watch.
The Rolex Datejust Turn-o graph watches come in two variations, both made in Rolesor. First one, made of steel and white gold, comes either with a blue, black or white dial.
Second variation is made of Everose gold and the high quality stainless steel 316L. Dial color of this model can be white, black or silver. Each variation is available with an Oyster bracelet, complemented with an Oyster clasp. Extraordinary precision of the Caliber 3135 self-winding movement and the remarkable sport elegance, made this watch a true representative of the Rolex craftsmanship. This mechanism comprises 31 jewels, oscillates at frequency of 28.800 vibrations per hour and provides 50 hours of power-reserve.
Whenever I look at a Rolex watch, it comes to my mind that this watch presents a real luxury and refined style. Indeed, this is in my opinion the most luxurious Rolex watch from this collection.
Rolex is the best brand, no doubt! The perfect example is this magnificent watch. It’s simply adorable. Well done for Rolex manufacturers!
Rolex is the brand with a lot of luxury and attractive models, but I’m not their biggest fan.
