Rolex launched its first Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch in 1945. It was unique piece of art, entirely crafted in yellow gold. This officially certified chronometer comprises 31 jewels, oscillates at frequency of 28,000 vibrations per hour and has 48 hours of power reserve.
Toughness and Luxury
Datejust II watches can be bought in two basic variations. The first one (116334) features a Rolesor case (stainless steel and 18 ct white gold), a fluted bezel, crafted in white gold, an oyster bracelet and either a rhodium, black, blue or silver dial. The last one comes with diamond hour markers, while other variations match white luminous indices or either Arabic or Roman numerals.

Like in all previous years, Rolex has still kept up with pure luxury and style. Rolex is still number 1 in the watch world. And it will stay that way for many more years.
Rolex watches are a great sensation when you see them. Great style and performance make this watch so irresistible. Excellent work from Rolex manufactures.
Model with the white dial is the most beautiful from this collection. The movement is absolutely great. I agree that Rolex is one of the best brands in Belgrade and I hope it will be forever because I’m a fan.
The Datejust II in slate dial is my definite choice for this new lineup. It is a happy compromise for someone like me who needs a dress watch in a dial other than white (too common) or black (legibility issue at night). And having the Rolex brand name and the upgraded classic Datejust look certainly top it all.
Recently picked up the steel and white gold piece, with Arabic blue numbers. No buyer’s remorse yet! True beauty. A watch that will withstand the test of time, and last my life and beyond.

P.S. This is my second piece in my “collection”. First is a Submariner, steep and gold, blue face and dial. Glad to know its appreciated, and almost doubled in price since 2003.
