Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight 44mm watch PAM00356 is a part of the brand’s Contemporary collection. Featuring three chronograph sub-dials, which is pretty unusual for Panerai watches, this attractive model combines modern elements with a renowned vintage design. One of the most notable timepieces from a very interesting Panerai 2011 edition (read our reviews of the Luminor Composite Marina 1950 3 Day Automatic and the Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Bronzo 47 mm), the Luminor Chrono Daylight comes in the standard size for the Contemporary collection, with the 44mm case. It is made of 316L brushed steel, as well as the bezel, the crown and the push-pieces.

Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight 44mm PAM00356 Watch This robust men’s watch is powered with the Panerai OP XII Calibre self-winding movement which is the third part modified by the Italian watchmaker. It comprises 27 jewels, monometallic Glucydur® balance and the Incabloc® anti-shock device. This Officially Certified Chronometer oscillates with 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of 46 hours.

Functionality and Readability

The extra-quality mechanism provides standard time-keeping and chronograph functions. Its black dial features three chronograph sub-dials – the 30 minute counter is located at the 3 o’clock position, the 60 seconds counter is at the 9 o’clock position, while the 12 hour counter takes the 6 o’clock position. There is a date window at the 4:30 o’clock position. Luminous Arabic numerals, hour markers and a coating of anti-reflective sapphire provide great legibility.

Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight 44mm PAM00356 WatchThe Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight 44mm watch is available with a black personalized leather strap and a large-size brushed steel buckle. It is also supplied with another interchangeable strap, a tool to change the strap, and a steel screwdriver.

Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight 44mm PAM00356 Watch CasebackDaylight timepieces are originally named after the Hollywood blockbuster from 1996 that entered the Italian watchmaker’s history as the first movie in which Sylvester Stallone worn a Panerai watch. This great fan of the brand had requested a special edition called Submersible, in order to wear it during the shooting of underwater scenes in the movie. Soon after, Sly asked for a new line with a white dial, named Daylight.

Chronograph on Panerai watch is right refreshment for all his fans.
As well as most Panerai models this one also has robust shape. I like it very much. This is definitely my next watch!

  2. Jonny Hill October 23, 2011

Very nice watch. It looks very simple but at the same time very interesting. Does anyone know how much it costs?

  3. Phill Jones October 23, 2011

Honestly I don’t like this watch with leather strap. I think that this watch would look much better if he has a steel bracelet instead of leather. Watches with steel bracelet look more serious and more elegant.

  5. Eliot Paz November 29, 2011

You can buy it for around 8000 US dollars.

Panerai watches are watches with style. This one here is a fine example of prestige design and look. It`ll be the best purchase if I buy this fine masterpiece. Does anyone know how much it costs?!

  7. Ray Barkley May 22, 2012

I think that it costs $9000, but I`m not sure. You must check it on the internet or in a watches store. I have another thing to tell you, Cesar, trust me and buy this watch. My best man has it, and he is thrilled with its performances.

Thanks man, I appreciate this. Yes, I`ll buy it that`s for sure. Once again, thanks for your information.
