The fifth edition of Only Watch Charity Auction raised by far the highest total of EUR 5,066,000, mostly thanks to a stunning Patek Philippe 5004T Piece Unique that reached the breathtaking price of 2,950,000 Euros (around $3,985,000). This result that is highly above the estimate price (400,000 – 600,000 Euros) is another record at the event, being organized every second year in order to benefit the Duchenne muscular dystrophy research. At the exclusive event that took place in Monte Carlo, all 33 auctioned watches were sold, some of which over their estimate prices. Most of these unique timepieces reached estimations, while some models went below expectations of prestigious watchmakers and organizers.

Patek Philippe 5004T Caseback Only Watch 2013
Besides Patek Philippe 5004T watch which is the only one of its kind crafted in titanium and probably the last one to be produced in the line, several models were also auctioned very successfully. At the first place, it is a Laurent Ferrier Galet Classic Tourbillon Double Spirale watch (with the estimated price from €100,000 to € 120,000) which was sold for € 130,000. It is an impressive price for this classic looking timepiece.
Breguet Classique Chronograph 5284 watch reached its highest estimated price of € 120,000, while unique pieces of Chronoswiss, Corum, Maurice Lacroix and Girard-Perregaux achieved significantly better results than it had been initially expected. Thus, Chronoswiss creation called the Three Apes reached the price of € 42,000 (the highest estimated price – € 32.000), while Corum’s Ti-Bridge 3 Day Power Reserve watch was sold for € 55,000 which is almost double of its estimated price.
Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Seconde Mysterieuse watch with the estimated price from € 15,000 to €20,000 reached € 30,000, and finally, Girard-Perregaux Chrono Hawk watch finished the auction with the price tag of € 32,000 (while the estimated price was € 14,000 – € 18,000).

Only Watch Charity Event Monaco 2013
Among timepieces with great results which are in accordance with earlier estimations there are Hublot’s Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon Red Ceramic and Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Traditionnelle World Time watches, each sold for €100,000.
Although it earned amazing 350,000 Euros for the charitable cause, Richard Mille Tourbillon Yohan Blake’s watch did not reach the expectations since its estimated price went from 450,000 to 500,000 Euros. We could say that the response to watches with unusual complications has not been particularly well. Thus, Christophe Claret’s X-Trem-1 Pinball watch (with the estimated price from €230,000 to €300,000) was sold for ‘just’ 100,000 Euros, while a beautiful Van Cleef & Arpels Lady Arpels une journée a Monaco watch went for 60,000 Euros, €20,000 less from its lowest estimated price. Another ladies’ masterpiece, Chanel Premiere Flying Tourbillon watch was seriously overestimated. It was sold for € 75,000, which is half of its lowest estimated price.
