Unlike two years ago, when Ikepod stole the show by presenting a spectacular Hourglass watch at the previous edition of the Only Watch auction, this year the Genovese watchmaker will be submitting a lot less spectacular piece from the Horizon lineage. This time, Ikepod’s one-of-a-kind watch will simply be in a unique color scheme, but with the functions and the specifications matching the already existing models in its offer. To be honest, these features are not that impressive (especially considering other pieces which will be present in Monaco) since the watch runs on the widely used ETA 2892 movement and includes only indications for hours and minutes.

As it has been said, almost exactly the same models are already in the brand’s palette of products. Four different models with the “HHT” designations in their names are the ones that this watch is similar to, while HHT04 version is the closest to this unique watch. The only difference is that the timepiece which Ikepod has prepared for the Only Watch show has a combination of red and black colors on its net-like face with circular openings, while HHT04 uses orange instead of red. All the other features are the same; including a black DLC coated titanium case of the round shape and the diameter of 44 mm, sapphire crystal, water resistance to 50 meters and a black rubber band with a titanium pin buckle.
For the beating heart of the Ikepod’s unique watch is ubiquitously used self-winding ETA 2892 mechanical movement with 21 jewels, the frequency of 28,800 vph and a power storage that lasts for around 42 hours. The only supported features are hours and minutes which are indicated in the most traditional possible way with the use of two central hands.
