In order to honor the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, exactly one year ahead of the sporting spectacle in Russia, Omega extended its renowned Seamaster Planet Ocean line with two special editions, each limited to symbolic number of 2014 pieces. A bold looking Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5 mm “Sochi 2014″ Limited Edition is designed for men divers and all lovers of sport watches, while the second model with the diameter of 37.5mm is dedicated to modern women who enjoy adventures.
Next February, Omega will serve as the Official Timekeeper at the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, for the 26th time since 1932. Along with the brand’s Countdown Clock which has been revealed in Moscow, a few days ago, the renowned Swiss watchmaker marked the upcoming spectacle with two great wristwatches that became new members of Omega Specialities Collection. A few design corrections have been done to recall the Sochi 2012 Olympic Games, but basically, new models completely follow the design code of the Seamaster Planet Ocean line. Powered with the brand’s most advanced co-axial mechanisms, these diving watches provide a great water-resistance up to 600 meters (2000 feet).
