Three timing subdials
The Series 800 Sub-Sea chronograph is coated with stretch resistant sapphire crystal and features screw-down crown, witch gives the maximum protection under the water.
Movado adapted its classic design to match the requirements of an sport chronograph.
Black dial with large, luminous Movado dot at 12 o’clock, features 3 timing subdials, applied luminous stick hour markers and silver bar hands, with thin luminous lines. Date display is located at 4 o’clock.
Series 800 Sub-Sea chronograph is powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement, which is accurate to 60 seconds per year.

This is one of the surprises in Movado collections. Water resistance of 200 meters is incredible, especially for Movado.
The watch looks great! I`m delighted with its performance. This is indeed a major exception in Movado watches. They were generally without calendars and chronographs, almost all models except this Movado Series 800 Sub- Sea.
$1000 is a very good price for a watch which has excellent quality. Design is very fine, too and it is a pity because there are no more models with this style and design.
Achilles Ditesheim established Movado brand when he was only 19. He hired another 6 watchmakers and so he started job in a small shop in the village La Chaux-de-Fonds. Initially, these watches were produced manually. Today, these watches have many awards, medals and of course, the revolutionary mechanism. Watches have presentations at the most prestigious fairs and they are leaders in design innovations.
All models in this collection have the same bracelet. This is not typical for Movado because it is known for its diversity. $1,000 for such a quality watch is not much money. Movado fits my budget and it provides me great precision and useful features. I like Swiss quartz movement and sapphire crystal. The huge water resistance to 200 meters is really excellent for all water sports.
How can you go wrong. It’s a MOVADO!
