The luxury Swiss watchmaker Zenith has always admired and respected women, who have played a key role in its history. Since the company was founded, in 1865, the high-end brand has been showing its gratitude to ladies through an entire range of collections, of all shapes and sizes. The new Zenith Star timepieces sport finely executed cushion-shaped bodies, which are nicely encrusted with a number of finely cut diamonds.
This summer, the Zenith Star Collection is enriched with two outstanding models, the Zenith Star Moonphase and the Zenith Star Open.
Zenith Star Open
The Zenith Star Open pays tribute to the El Primero Caliber and it is powered by the Caliber 4062 mechanical movement. The dial of the Zenith Star is decorated with mother-of-pearl and guilloche, whilst the numerals are written in blue Roman symbols which give it old-world charm.

A heart-shaped aperture situated between ten and eleven o’clock positions reveal the legendary mechanism. Thus, you can see the intricate inner workings of the time-proven movement. Further, the movement decoration is visible through a sapphire crystal case back. The 31 jewels movement beats at the rapid frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour and provides full 50 hours of power reserve.

Zenith Star Open Watch Rose Gold
This newcomer matches faceted rhodium hands that sport the intense blue of the elegant cabochon-cut sapphire set on the crown tip. The central chronograph hand and the 30-minute counter located at the 3 o’clock position further enrich this harmonious visual symphony.
Zenith offered three models of the Zenith Star. There is a stainless steel model set with 28 VVS brilliant-cut diamonds, with the total weight of approximately 0.17 karats. For those with deeper pockets, there are two rose gold versions. The first one is encrusted with 63 VVS brilliant-cut diamonds, with the total weight of 0.27 karats, while the second one is set with 263 VVS brilliant-cut diamonds weighing 1.57 karats.

The case of the new Star Open measures 37 mm x 37 mm and it is 12.7 mm thick. The watch case is domed on both sides by curved sapphire crystals with antireflective coatings and it is constructed to resist water pressure up to 30 meters (100 feet).
Zenith Star Moonphase Watch
The second novelty is the new Zenith Star Moonphase ladies wristwatch. Housed in a cushion-shaped case, this watch gives you all the understated elegance that you may expect from a vintage-styled timepiece. With the diameter of 37 mm and the thickness of 10.5 mm, it perfectly fits every wrist size.
The silver-toned dial comprises faceted rhodium hands (with or without gold plating) and blue Roman numerals as hour markers which match the deep blue color of the cabochon-cut sapphire set on the crown. A small seconds counter is located at the 9 o’clock position, while the moon-phase display is situated at the 6 o’clock position.
