The Neuchatel-based high end watchmaking company Cristophe Claret has appointed Wolfgang Sickenberg as the new Director of Operations. Sickenberg, who has been present in the industry for two decades and who previously worked for Audemars Piguet and Blancpain, thus replaced Stefan Feltgen who held the position for the previous three years.
After the news that Stefan Feltgen will be leaving the position of the Chief Operating Officer (also called as Director of Operations or by its abbreviation COO) at the end of the last month, Christophe Claret has announced that his position will be filled by another industry veteran, Wolfgang Sickenberg. In the official statement of the brand, the Swiss watchmaker expressed gratitude to the man who was in charge of developing the company’s marketing and strategy on the world-wide stage since 2010.
The new COO of Cristophe Claret holds a diploma in Business Management from the University of Lausanne’s School of Higher Commercial Studies which he got prior to obtaining a Master of Science degree from the Japan-American Institute of Management Science from Honolulu. Sickenberg has been in the industry for exactly twenty years, primarily in the commercial sphere. He used to work for Blancpain and subsequently Audemars Piguet where he was in charge in sales and marketing in both Switzerland and Asia.
