The latest addition to the Ulysse Nardin’s Marine Diver collection is Black Sea Diver with striking yellow hands and indices. This newcomer joins the previous model with red accents which was very successful for Swiss-based manufacturer.
The new Ulysse Nardin’s chronograph is also housed in a large-sized round case with the diameter of 45.8 mm. The steel case has undergone a complex vulcanization process, leaving it with a matte-black rubber coating. Thus it gives the watch a sporty aesthetic and comfortable feel.
Its masculine case features a unidirectional rotating bezel and a screw-down crown. The case is protected on both sides with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals with antireflective coatings. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 200 meters (660 feet), which makes this wristwatch perfectly suitable for swimming and diving.
The Ulysse Nardin Black Sea Chronograph has a see-through sapphire-glass case back which reveals the UN Caliber 26 automatic mechanical movement. The self-winding movement features a 42-hour power reserve indicator, oversize small seconds display and a large date register.
For the best comfort of the wearer, the new Black Sea Chrono is attached to a comfortable black rubber strap with ceramic inserts and ceramic folding clasp. In the true Marine Diver style, these black ceramic pieces have the Ulysse Nardin logo engraved into them.
A Wave-pattern Decoration with Diving Scale
The most eye-catching is its dial decorated with wave motif. Further, the wave-pattern decoration extends from the dial to the bezel and even the rubber and ceramic strap.
The hour and minute hands and the hour markers are filled with yellow luminous material for the best visibility under low light conditions (for example, in a deep underwater darkness).
The sporty dial of the new Ulysse Nardin timekeeper comprises two sub-dials. A small seconds counter is located at the 6 o’clock position, whereas a power-reserve indicator is situated at the 12 o’clock position. A small seconds sub-dial comprises a round date aperture.
Although we still do not have any information about the price tag of the Ulysse Nardin Black Sea Chronograph with yellow details, considering the suggested retail price for the Black Seawith red details we assume it will be around $10,000.
