The Le Locle-based matchmaking company, Tissot, launches a new limited edition timepiece dedicated to the FIBA Basketball World Cup Spain 2014 which will be held from 30 August to 14 September. During the upcoming tournament, Tissot will be providing fairness to the teams that have already proven themselves in the FIBA Continental Championships. The Swiss manufacturer has been Official Timekeeper of FIBA since 2008.

The new Quickster FIBA Limited Edition 2014 is produced in a limited quantity of only 2014 pieces, each of them with the FIBA Basketball World Cup logo engraved on the case back. This sporty watch combines black and orange colors. The love of the basketball is illustrated by a bright orange aluminum ring which recalls the wearers of the basketballs that rule the courts. Orange color is also used for other details, such as indices in the counters and stitching on the leather strap, thus adding to its sporty and modern look. The dial features a special black-on-black finish.

This newcomer is housed in a round, stainless steel case which measures 42mm in diameter and 10.72mm in thickness. The sporty case is shielded with anti-reflective sapphire crystals and it is capable to resist water pressure of up to 100 meters (330 feet). The new Tissot is powered with the Swiss-made G10.211 quartz movement which provides a high level of precision and reliability.
