The United States’ largest watch show to be held at the Park Avenue Armory, from September 14-15, will present an extraordinary range of both new and iconic watches from the world’s most renowned manufacturer. The second TimeCrafters watch exhibition is open to the public which will get a unique chance to meet special brand’s guests, including some of the world’s finest master artisans. Besides, the TimeCrafters show will host several exciting exhibitions.
According to the number of high-end watchmakers that are going to showcase their latest products in New York City, this event deserves a high place among the greatest annual watch events. TimeCrafters will present creations of A. Lange & Sohne, Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Blancpain, Breguet, Bulgari, Chopard, Julien Coudray 1518, De Bethune, Dior, Frederique Constant, Girard-Perregaux, Glashütte Original, Harry Winston, Hublot, Parmigiani Fleurier, Omega, Oris, Ralph Lauren, Richard Mille, TAG-Heuer and Zenith.
Furthermore, watch fans will have a chance to enjoy several pretty interesting exhibitions, including the display of the most iconic pieces from The Blum Collection. Featuring rare hybrids, variations and one-of-a-kind Swatch models, assembled over many years by a Swiss businessman, Peter Blum, and his wife Linda, it represents one of the most complete collections of Swatch watches. The highlights of the collection are artist-designed Swatch watches, especially prototypes from an American artist, Keith Haring, and rare models designed by Mimmo Paladino, Alfred Hofkunst and Sam Francis.
Made exclusively for the TimeCrafters event, Sotheby’s Diamonds Collection will display rare, extraordinary diamonds, while the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH is going to present the source of the Swiss watchmaking industry, both past and present, with its interactive traveling exhibition called Think Time – Think Swiss Excellence.
During the show, the brand executives and special guests will share the latest technological innovations and behind the scenes information with watch aficionados who will also have the opportunity to get familiar with the working technique of high-end watchmakers and designers.
