Once again, Tag Heuer has benefited from the partnership with high rated car-racing teams and drivers. This weekend its partners won the famous Le Mans 24 race and the Canadian F1 GP, choosing the best possible way to promote renowned Swiss brand that celebrates “150 years of Mastering Speed”.
Just 2 weeks after the “Tag’s big weekend” in Monaco, champions of the 79th edition of the historic Le Mans race wore Tag Heuer watches on the podium. The German racecar team Audi Sport won the race for a tenth time in the last 12 editions, with the Swiss brand’s colors on its racing cars and drivers’ suits. During the ceremony, new Le Mans champion Marcel Fässler wore his TAG Heuer CARRERA Day-Date Chronograph.
Since the Swiss watchmaker is the Official Partner for watches, eyewear and timekeeping solutions of the team, all drivers wear TAG Heuer CARRERA Day-Date Chronographs, while managers promote TAG Heuer Grand CARRERA Chronographs.
At the same time, another great partner of the Swiss brand, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, took an amazing victory at the Canadian Grand Prix, after an epic Jenson Button’s come back (Tag’s ambassador wore the Carrera 1887 on the podium).
Tag Heuer’s CEO Jean-Christophe Babin said after victories that the brand’s closest ties to motor sports and car manufacturing showed what is unique about Tag Heuer’s heritage.
“What a great way to cap our 150 Years of Motor-Racing celebrations, with a third straight trophy at Le Mans, and Jenson’s amazing victory in Canada”, said Babin in Le Mans.
