Sotheby’s announced the total of its Hong Kong Important Watches Spring Sale 2013 to be the highest ever sale of timepieces in its history. The amazing sum of US$28.4 million (estimated total went around US$12.8 million) was achieved thanks to a unique, for the fist time offered, private collection of 22 decorative modern clocks that were sold for US$15,9 million. Along with magnificent clocks, a great selection of high-end wristwatches has been also highly valued. Remarkable products of Patek Philippe were highlights in both categories.
