A new stunning sport watch from Raymond Weil Nabucco Collection marks number 12 on an interesting new way. Written in golden letters, at the top of the striking, galvanic dial, the large “Twelve” of the new Nabucco Cuore Caldo Chronograph has the symbolic meaning which refers to the noble cause of the Swiss luxury watchmaker. A part of the sales proceeds from this limited edition will help the improvement of cancer treatment among children.
The Swiss brand has found a nice symbolic in the number 12 that represents “the turning point between yesterday and tomorrow, between the past and the future”. I will reinterpret the rest: If the change is within our reach, we should participate in a better future. In that order, Raymond Weil has chosen to support the fight against cancer. Thus, through the sale of the new luxury model, it will renew its support for the Pediatric Onco-Hematology unit of the University of Geneva-Switzerland Hospital.
The new Nabucco Cuore Caldo Chronograph features the amazing fusion of high-quality materials. In order to craft a unique, bold looking watch, Raymond Weil joined together polished and satin finished steel, titanium, carbon fiber and the most striking, 18 karat rose gold. The upper part of the bezel is crafted in circular brushed 18 karat rose gold, as well as the screwed down and fluted crown, and chrono pushers. Sides of the robust, 46mm case are made of steel. There is a very nice combination of polished steel with a ‘godron’ pattern and brushed vertical bands.
A screwed down case-back is crafted in ultra-light titanium and its middle part is covered with a sapphire crystal to reveal a complex mechanism with beautiful “côtes de Genève” decorations and circular graining. It is a RW5500 self-winding chronograph movement. It comprises 31 jewels and provides 42 hours of the power-reserve, which is indicated on the dial. This mechanism also provides the split-seconds chronograph feature.
The small-seconds sub-dial is located at the 9 o’clock position, while the 30-minute counter takes the 3 0’clock position. There are two central chrono hands. Thanks to the tachymeter scale on the bezel, the Nabucco Cuore Caldo timepiece also provides speed calculations.
The black, galvanic dial has a modern sporty look and with the chequerboard pattern in its center, it recalls a motor-racing spirit. Applied hour markers, the word “twelve”, hands and frames of counters are all rose gold plated and covered with a luminous material for greater readability. Matching the design of the dial, there is a great looking vulcanized rubber strap, with a RW folding clasp in titanium, which provides comfort, robustness and style. Raymond Weil’s watch is also available with a black leather strap.
The Nabucco Cuore Caldo Twelve watch is water resistance up to 100 meters (330 feet). It comes in the Limited Edition of 76 pieces, so hurry up if you are interested in buying this great watch and supporting the noble cause.
