A Swiss luxury watchmaker Raymond Weil has created a limited edition watch to celebrate the greatest music band of all time, the Beatles. This newcomer also marks the brand’s 40th anniversary.
Raymond Weil Beatles Watch is powered by the mechanical, self-winding movement which offers the highest precision and the utmost reliability. The in-house manufactured caliber RW4200 is built on 26 jewels. The impeccable mechanism can store enough power to keep the watch ticking for at least 38 hours when fully wound.
The watch that honors the legendary pop group is housed in a stainless steel case which measures 39.5mm in diameter and 9mm in thickness. The average-size case fits perfectly with an average size wrist.
The titles of The Beatles’ 13 albums encrust the silver galvanic dial and they are inscribed in between the baton style hour markers. The McCartney, Lennon, Harrison and Starr themselves are depicted in their Help pose at the 4 o’clock position. The timeless logo “The Beatles” is proudly set just below the center of the dial. A date window is placed at the 3 o’clock position. The hands are colored in black and barrel-shaped.
From the rear, the case back displays a smoked sapphire crystal that carries the official Beatles logo and the limited edition number engraved. The water resistance of the case is assured down to 50 meters (approximately 165 feet).
This amazing wristwatch comes with a polished stainless steel bracelet, fitted with Raymond Weil folding clasp with a double-push security system.
The maestro Beatles Limited Edition timepiece will be issued in the series of 3,000 pieces worldwide and each of them will be presented in a special edition gift box bearing the famous “drum” logo and the same 13 album titles inscribed inside.
The Swiss manufacturer is very proud on its partnership with a legendary music band. “We could not feel more proud to associate our brand name with the exceptional Beatles,” said the CEO, Elie Bernheim. “Raymond Weil has always been closely linked with music, our dear source of inspiration since our early days. We are overjoyed to once again honor great music legends this year and celebrate our 40th anniversary with the Fab Four”, Raymond Weil’s CEO concluded.
