The Antiquorum’s auction in New York will offer seven rare superb watches with an expected six figure price tags. The sale includes timepieces made by Audermars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, Rolex and Patek Philippe.

The renowned watch auctioneer Antiquorum has scheduled an auction of several exquisite and rare timepieces for the 8th of June. The sale of “Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces” will be held in Antiquorum’s U.S. headquarters in New York City, and the highlights of the auction will be an Audermars Piguet Grande Complication Watch and a Vacheron Constatin platinum minute-repeating perpetual calendar timepiece.
The exceptional watch by Audermars Piguet was made for this company’s 125th anniversary back in 2000. This watch was made for the first “Time to Give” charity event hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Muhammad Ali. The wristwatch in question is an oversized minute-repeating, titanium and 18K pink gold timepiece that include round button split-seconds chronograph and perpetual calendar with moon phases. It is expected that this extraordinary product will reach the price of between $250,000 and $350,000.

The other extremely valuable timepiece at this auction is the unique Vacheron & Constantin Minute-Repeating Perpetual Calendar Watch (ref. 30021) with 40 mm wide platinum case. Offered with original packaging, certificate that proves its authenticity, this watch is expected to reach between $200,000 and $250,000.

There are five more great timepieces that are expected to reach six-figure price tag at the sale. Two of these magnificent products were made by Rolex. The first is the exceptionally rare Rolex Oyster Stainless Steel Triple-Calendar wristwatch (ref. 6062) made in limited numbers between 1950 and 1953. This amazing timepiece, very popular with Rolex collectors, is estimated between $150,000 and $200,000. The other fantastic Rolex watch is the stainless steel vintage timepiece with triple calendar and chronograph (ref. 6236) from the 1960, also known as the “Jean Claude Killy”. This watch is in immaculate condition and will be sold directly from the family of the first owner. It is expected to reach the price between $80,000 and $120,000.

“Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces” auction will also include one more superb watch by Audermars Piguet, the Millenary Maserati Anniversary MC12 Tourbillon and Chronograph Watch made in 2006 in a limited edition of just 150 pieces. This timepiece features platinum case with twin white gold and palladium alloy barrels, black carbon movement with blue anodized aluminum bridges, and 10-day power reserve (estimated value between $140,000 and $160,000).

The sixth watch that is expected to reach six-figure price is a rare yellow gold Patek Philippe (ref. 3448) made in 1977 with perpetual calendar and moon phases. The estimated price of this superb watch is between $100,000 and $120,000.

However, there is more exciting news for Patek Philippe enthusiasts, because the auction will also include 17 more modern watches made by this company, including the self-winding astronomic watch with Roman dial (ref 5050P). This great watch includes a perpetual calendar, retrograde date, leap year indications and an estimated price of between $80,000 and $100,000.
