The five-time NBA Champion with Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant, became the newest Hublot’s ambassador, joining the impressive group of the brand’s partners that includes top-end sport stars such as Dwyane Wade, Usain Bolt and Diego Maradona. As the part of the partnership, the renowned Swiss watchmaker will keep close ties with The Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation.

Along with the promotion of the newest ambassador who will represent the brand on the international level, Hublot’s CEO, Ricardo Guadalupe, revealed a Bryant’s Signature Watch, King Power Black Mamba, whose design was inspired by Kobe’s nickname. Guadalupe believes that the 34-year old basketball icon will be the perfect representative of Hublot’s values. Besides, this partnership will strengthen the relationship between the Swiss watchmaker and LA Lakers. “We could not be more excited to add Kobe Bryant to our roster of brand ambassadors, all of whom are living testimonies to athletic superiority and perseverance. This time, it will support the activities of the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, which is devoted to improve the life quality of youth and families in need, by ensuring finances and developing special educational and cultural programs. The first joint activity for Hublot and Kobe was the children’s basketball shoot-off, held on March 20, in Los Angeles, with the goal to raise funds for After-School All Stars.
