Marvin pleases its female fans with a scaled-down version of its Malton Coussin family of cushion-shaped watches. This novelty is redesigned especially for modern women and it could be a perfect gift for the upcoming Christmas.

The Swiss watch manufacturer placed the new Marvin Malton Mini-Cushion Moonphase Watch (ref. M022.12.39.12) in a cushion-shaped case with the dimensions of 30mm x 30mm. A stainless steel case is shielded with anti-reflective sapphire crystals and it is constructed to resist water pressure of up to 50 meters (about 165 feet). Its elegant case features a thick round bezel, the nut-shaped setting crown and the crown-lugs that look like small chronograph pushers.

Underneath the front sapphire glass lies a silver dial with the guilloche outer ring. The gorgeous dial comprises blue Arabic numerals 3, 9 and 12, silver rhodium-plated hour markers, a date window at the 6 o’clock position and a fabulous moon phase indicator which is situated below the numeral 12. The moon phase indicator is equipped with a white moon that is placed on a vivid blue sky with golden stars. The open-worked hour and minute hands are also colored in blue. There is one more detail – the brand’s logo adorns the dial at the 6 o’clock position.

The Malton Mini-Cushion Moonphase Watch is tooled with the precise and reliable caliber Ronda 708 quartz movement which is a relative of the well-known caliber Ronda 705. It is equipped with an additional moon phase module with a large central disk which looks quite impressive. Furthermore, the mechanism is capable to deliver a fairly generous power reserve of approximately 60 months.

The latest Malton timepiece is secured to the wearer’s wrist with a dark blue leather strap, ending with a steel buckle. The retail price is $760 which is not too much for such a timekeeper.

The watch company Marvin is a classic watchmaking brand that has steeped in the tradition of Swiss horology since 1850. For over 160 years, the Swiss watchmaker has remained true to its founding principles of passion, strong ethics, daringness and humor.
