To celebrate the legendary Reverso’s 80th anniversary, the watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre released a new model of its Grande Reverso Ultra-Thin Tribute to 1931 timepieces, encrusted with the colors of AC Milan. This limited edition newcomer pays tribute to one of the world’s most famous and titled soccer teams for 112 years of its existence.
This year, AC Milan also won the 18th Scudetto and the house of Jaeger-LeCoultre has been chosen to eternalize the latest success of the world’s most successful club. The directors of the club will also wear the same model, engraved with their name and a memorable logo. I am sure that both the team’s players and directors will be truly thrilled to wear a watch so rich in history.
“The watches by Jaeger-LeCoultre are masterpieces of beauty, style and elegance,” said Adriano Galliani, the Executive Vice President and the CEO of the club. “It is with great pride that we join forces with a company so instrumental in the history of watchmaking and that shares our values of passion, tradition and excellence. First created back in 1930s for polo players, the Reverso has become a veritable icon. We are therefore deeply honored that the master craftsmen of Jaeger-LeCoultre have made a special version for the managers, coaches and players of AC Milan,” Galliani concluded.
The new Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Ultra-Thin Tribute to 1931 with AC Milan Colors Watch is attached to the wearer’s wrist with the finest black leather strap. These watches were presented to the players and coaches at the Milanello training ground.
The Union of Two Legends
In 2011, AC Milan was enjoying an unparalleled track record, becoming the world’s most successful and most titled club. For its part, the watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre has remained the undisputed leader in fine watchmaking, with some 1231 calibers manufactured and 398 patents filed. This limited edition timepiece represents the perfect union of two legends joined together to lay the ground for future achievements. This year, the house of Jaeger-LeCoultre opened “VirtualMuseum”, where all its fans can share their experiences and desires.
